Table tennis to cricket, and yoga too
The college offers table tennis, badminton, volleyball, cricket, football, basketball and more. Events such as technical quizzes, GDs, paper presentations, software contests, extempore and mock interviews are also conducted.
A Holistic Centre runs yoga classes for students and staff, taken by specialists in yoga, to spread awareness of better management of life. A sports committee organises events on campus and outside.
Seven faculty, one sports officer
The committee has seven faculty members including one sports officer. It organises intra-college and inter-college events, evenly spaced through the year. Its main objective is to develop the all-round personality of students and instil teamwork, coordination and leadership while they explore their talents.
Intra-college events cover football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, carom and chess. Inter-college events include cricket, football, basketball, volleyball and table tennis. All events are conducted so that boys and girls get an equal opportunity to take part.

For badminton, cricket, football and the annual athletic meet, the college hires a ground outside the campus with the best infrastructure.
Achievements
- Our volleyball team won the championship in the inter-college volleyball tournament held at HIT, Bhubaneswar.
- Our cricket team won the championship in the inter-college cricket tournament organised by Red Bull at Kalinga Stadium.
