Training & placement

Training

Corporate-readiness training, designed after a training need analysis.

Why training

A degree alone is not enough

Recruiters visiting campuses look for candidates who are ready for industry and have the etiquette the corporate world expects. The answer is training, in the right direction and by the right process.

The training and placement department designs industrial training programmes after a proper training need analysis, to make students corporate ready.

  1. 01

    Problem-solving techniques

From the second year, a comprehensive module on problem solving, data structures and algorithms. Afterwards, aptitude and programming competence are assessed online and candidates are grouped for training in a specific technology.

  2. 02

    Technology-specific bootcamps

Based on the grouping, candidates train in a bootcamp model on four technical tracks: Python and data science, Java full-stack, Android/React and Node.js developer, and web developer.

  3. 03

    Project mentoring by industry experts

In the third year, candidates take real-time problem topics and are guided by industry experts through to a final prototype.

  4. 04

    Internships and industry exposure

After the project, candidates intern with partner companies for further exposure and possible pre-placement offers based on performance.

Readiness to industry

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Cisco CCNA Security
  • Cloud computing, fundamental and advanced
  • Android, fundamental
  • NI LabVIEW
  • AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • HP certification on J2EE, core Java, PHP and big data
