The service group: students giving back to society.
Voluntary service
Started by our first batch
Kartavya began as an initiative of our very first batch of B.Tech. students, who formed a voluntary group out of the urge to give back to society by helping the needy whenever required.
Its membership has risen steadily. Every year its members organise a voluntary blood donation camp on the college campus, in coordination with “The Sambad”. Each camp collects about 400 to 500 units of blood, donated by the staff and students of the Trident group.
What they do
- Helping flood-affected and marooned villagers
- Standing by street orphans
- Supporting a literacy campaign in slums
- Standing by to coordinate with government and non-government bodies during disasters and emergencies
