About the centre
A National MEMS Design Centre (NMDC) was established at Trident Academy of Technology, Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with IISc, Bangalore, under the NPMASS programme in 2012.
It makes the institution one of the few in eastern India with a National MEMS Design Centre, for research on MEMS and nanotechnology.
Facilities
- 10 fully upgraded advanced systems
- Perpetual licensed software provided by IISc, Bangalore: COMSOL, CoventorWare and IntelliSuite
- Full licensed version of MATLAB
- Exclusive space for research on MEMS and nanotechnology
