How we run the college
Attendance Monitoring
Attendance is tracked online and parents are told when it falls short.
How it works
Tracked, rewarded and reported
Tracked online
Attendance of all theory classes is updated and monitored through the e-governance system. It is one criterion for internal assessment.
Rewarded
A cash prize of Rs 5,000 goes to five students each for top attendance in the class, by semester, branch and section. This has run since 2005.
Reported to parents
Every month, an SMS goes to the parents of students who fall short of 70% attendance.
Oversight
Attendance and performance monitoring committee
A committee oversees the whole process and is responsible for suggesting reward or necessary action, as the case may be.
