Approach

Sustainable educational strategies

The institution has developed sustainable educational strategies that give priority to infrastructure, professionalisation, internships, publications, learning resources and personal development.

Improving teaching and learning

What we emphasise

  • Adherence to the academic calendar

TACT strictly follows the BPUT academic calendar and fits developmental activities between: academic booster programmes, campus placement drives, co-curricular, extra-curricular and cultural activities.

  • Support for weak and bright students

Encouragement brings out a student’s inner enthusiasm. Through the Proctorial system, each student is mentored by a faculty member on college or any other issue.

  • Classrooms and laboratories

Smart classrooms with an LCD projector and screen, laptop, smart board, microphone and speaker, and boards. Laboratories are equipped with dedicated instruments and software for the full curriculum.

  • Projects and industry interaction

Projects are application-oriented, with regular guide consultation and presentations of ongoing work to a panel of experts. Industry involvement is part of regular academic activity.

  • Six Sigma practices

TACT introduced Six Sigma practices from the 2014-15 academic session.
