Student Council
Participative discipline: students as partners with the administration.
Formation
Nominated every year
The Student Council is constituted every year by nominating student members from the final year of MBA and MCA, five from each department. The Head of Department nominates them for career and discipline record, leadership qualities and positive attitude. Both men and women are represented, and council members are issued a special ID card.
Purpose
What the council does
- •Ensure smooth administration, and present student grievances at the Student and Staff Welfare Committee.
- •Raise genuine grievances of students at different levels.
- •Maintain discipline during Elixir, the management fest, Trifest and functions such as farewells and welcomes.
- •Be a companion and guide to juniors.
- •Carry forward the intent and policies of the management to the student committee.
